Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles are a cross between the Golden Retriever and the Poodle. Their teddy-bear fur and playful demeanor qualifies them as the perfect family dog. They are smart, obedient, and easily trained. For this reason, they can even be used as service dogs!
Our Goldendoodle puppies have similar temperaments as their parents: calm, collected and consistent. These dogs are very reliable. They love to play and be a part of the family.
Our goldendoodles come in two sizes: standard and medium-mini. Standards range from 40-60 lbs and medium-mini’s range from 15-35 lbs.
Goldendoodle Generations & Coloring
Doodle Generations can be pretty confusing! Even here at Yellowstone Doodles we send out many different generations every year: F1's, F1b's F1bb's, F2b's and more in the future.
So what's the difference? Which one fits your family best? Hopefully these charts and explanations help answer those questions.
Lets start with the F1 and F2 generations. The letter F indicates a generation, and the number indicates how may generations from the original full bred parents the puppy is. Here is an example with Goldendoodles.
F1 - A puppy that is half poodle, half Golden Retriever
F2 - A puppy whose parents are both F1 goldendoodles
F3 - A puppy whose parents are both F2 goldendoodles
B's are added to generational distinctions when a full bred poodle is one of a puppy's parents after the initial F1 generation.
F1b - A puppy whose first parent is an F1 doodle, and second parent is a poodle.
F1bb - A puppy whose first parent is an F1b doodle, and second parent is a poodle.
Multigenerational Doodle - A puppy whose first parent is an F1bb doodle, and second parent is a poodle, or a puppy whose parents are both some generation of Goldendoodle. By the F1b generation, a dog can have the exact same coat genetics as a full bred poodle. Carefully planned breeding's between Goldendoodles will produce the same non-shedding results in puppies that breeding to a full poodle does.
On each mom's photo reel below, it has her own personal chart so you can see exactly what generation her puppies will be.

Goldendoodle Coloring
Our Goldendoodle puppy coloring is easy compared to the other breeds we do! All puppies regardless of size are cream, red, or possibly party. Out of all of our goldendoodle litters we have only had one that was half party!
Gus Gus is our only goldendoodle stud.

Daisy
Daisy is so so loved, and she loves life! When she doesn't have puppies she spends her time with the Morgan family. These are a few things they had to say about her:
"One of Daisy's loves is toys. Her favorite is her tire toy. She will chase it and play fetch with it for hours. Her next love is snuggling: at night she curls up on the bed right on top of me! Daisy also loves to jump. We like to say she has The Hops. When it rains and the water runs off the side of the roof, she loves to try to catch it in her mouth. She loves to run around and play in the snow."
Daisy's girls love her to absolute pieces, and Daisy loves them! When she comes to us to have her puppies, her whole world lights up when her girls come to visit her and her puppies for the day.
Daisy and her golden retriever energy light any room she comes into, and we love that her puppies get to share that with their families!
Daisy's Past Puppies
Bell is our social butterfly, our kissing lovebug, and our morning bird.
Bell is loved by all her four-footed friends in addition to her two-footed friends. She is just a happy go lucky thing that can’t help but be someone’s first hello when they venture to the back yard.
She ALWAYS greets with a big kiss. If someone’s face and ear aren’t available to bestow her love, she settles for a licking a hand or an arm. This goes for her four-footed friends as well.
Bell is always the first one up in the morning. By first light she has rounded the whole yard and checked over everything to see if anything is new or exciting, and quickly lets everyone else know if there is. In human terms she would probably be pegged as someone who lived in the gossip collumns of the paper…. Except she would be the one writing the column. Because if there is anything to know, Bell knows. And by golly she’ll let you know too!

Little Red
Little Red is the sweetest, gentlest most patient girl. We kept her from Ember's last litter, and not only did she inherit all of her mommas amazing temperament, she also has her own sweet twist on sweetness.
The thing about being around Yellowstone Doodles is that there are always a lot of dogs running between our yards and around the rest of our farm. Little Red is always the most patient girl when it comes to getting loves. She will sit and wait her turn, never jumps in excitement, and will softly nuzzle up to anyone. Especially my little girls!
Red is VERY food motivated. Her nose is probably her best feature! She can sniff out anything at any point in the yard before anyone else. Especially if it is sausage involved. This is where her own sweet twist on sweetness comes in. Red will eat anything, and her most favorite treats are where the last strands of her patience goes out the window. She won't jump on you, but she will stand up on her hind legs and follow you around like she is actually a person.
If you are looking for the sweetest gentlest personality in a puppy, that has their own twist of sweetness, this girl might be the perfect momma for you! She is due with her first litter in July!
